2005 Domaine Chandon de Briailles Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Les Fourneaux. What a great wine this was. Just like a year ago, this was wide open for business and dazzled with crunchy berries and earth and lip smacking acid. This is difficult to put down once you are sipping on it. Last bottle and at 11 years old, still has lots of life left in the tank.
