2013 Weingut Rings Freinsheim Spätburgunder. This is such an expressive wine. It is a gooseberry, red currant, rhubarb and strawberry bomb. The nose explodes in your face, and the flavors explode on your palate. Not particularly earthy, this also has tons of lipsmacking acidity and is a pleasure to drink all the way. Best paired with fatty meats and flavorful dishes.
